We understand that moving to Bali, Indonesia can be a challenge in terms of navigating travel and visas. We have created this Guide and FAQ for current and new Green School parents to help answer most questions. Please take some time to review the information below and read our Visa & Travel FAQ section. Things can change from time-time and keep this site updated as best we can, but please re-confirm details.

Please note, Green School Bali is not a travel and visa agency, but we do help support enrolled families. Please see below some useful suggested timings on where to start on your journey.
Enrollment is Confirmed - What next? Some Handy Guidelines
Step 1
2+ months in advance
The School organises the issuance of your enrolled child's student visa. We work with Ganesha Visa Services for our student visas. You should also contact Ganesha at visa@ganeshabaliconsulting.com or a visa agency of your choice to initiate the visa process for parents/guardians or other non-enrolled siblings or family members. Ensure that passports have plenty of empty pages and are not near expiration. Your visa agent can advise you on what exactly is required regarding passports
Pay tuition and fees in advance of deadline to avoid late fees or losing your child’s spot

Join our Zoom Parent information sessions as an opportunity to hear updates and ask questions in a live discussion
Keep up-to-date with any emailed information from our Admissions and Visa Teams
We recommend researching and securing some temporary housing/accommodation, ahead of viewing and settling on a home once you are here in Bali.

Research and buy travel insurance
Fill prescription medications
Join Green School Bali New Families Facebook group to connect with other families
Join Green School Bali Community Housing Facebook group to start perusing available rentals
Step 3
2 weeks in advance
Confirm your arrangements for travel.
If you have not already, arrange short-term (or longer-term) accommodation in Bali.

Make sure you have reviewed all emails from our Admissions Team and have registered for Orientation Day
Photograph and/or make backup copies of passports and essential documents - Print outs also recommended
Pack a travel bag with essentials in case of a flight delay
