We understand that moving to Bali, Indonesia, may feel like a big undertaking, and navigating visas and the timing of your travel are critical to your plan. Remember, at any stage, you can also always reach out to our Admissions Team at admissions@greenschool.org.
If you are not an Indonesian citizen, you’ll need to have the appropriate visa in place to live in Bali (beyond a short-term tourist stay). Visa processes can be straightforward, but they do require specific documents and passport details, so we strongly recommend connecting with a visa support service as soon as your enrolment is confirmed. This will help ensure everything is organised well in advance and aligned with your travel plans.
Arriving in Bali ahead of Orientation Day and the first day of school can make a big difference to your child’s transition, and to your family’s overall experience. Settling in early helps reduce stress and allows time to adjust, connect, and feel at home before school begins. We support this transition through a range of welcoming events and initiatives across the first two weeks of the school year.
To help families prepare, we host online Zoom sessions before the August Orientation Day. These sessions share practical tips about living in Bali and insights from our community on making the move as smooth as possible. You’ll receive an invitation from our Admissions Team with details of the next session. Families joining in Semester Two will be contacted individually.
We look forward to welcoming you and supporting your family as you begin your Green School journey.
